Divine G (Oscar nominee Colman Domingo) spearheads the Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program, that stages theatre productions with fellow incarcerated men. With the introduction of a new member, budding actors are inspired to move away from their regular rotation of Shakespeare, and soon opt to devise an original comedy from scratch instead. Opening up to vulnerability, and accepting advice and help from each other, the men form a friendship of reciprocal support.
